STORM EUNICE : TREES DOWN/DAMAGED

TREES ON TOWN COUNCIL-OWNED LAND

There are a lot of trees on Southborough Town Council-Owned Land – especially Southborough Common.  Storm Eunice will undoubtedly cause tree damage.

Trees down as of 2 p.m. Friday 18th February 2022

  • Constitutional Hill Road/Tree Across Road – RESOLVED
  • School Cottages, Southborough Common Car Park @ St Peter’s/Large Bough Down- ASSESSED: Safe – further works to follow. 
  • Southborough Common @ Woodlands Pre-School/Large Oak Bough down, taken out smaller trees – ASSESSED: Safe – further works to follow.
  • A26 Pinehurst, London Road/Two trees leaning – RESOLVED
  • Southborough Cemetery /Tree branches hanging – TO BE ASSESSED
  • Ridgewaye Allotments/Tree boughs down across path to Oak End Close – RESOLVED
  • Yew Tree Playing Fields nr St Andrews & Scout Hut/Fir Tree boughs fallen – ASSESSED: Ground Staff to return to remove.
