We are very sorry to have to temporarily close the public toilets at the Pennington Recreation Ground, Pennington Road, Southborough.
These toilets are being vandalised consistently and we have had no choice but to close them for the time being. The toilets have had new, heavy-duty equipment only recently installed, but this is now damaged, so we now need to source and order tougher, anti-vandal equipment. Some of the issues we are battling include: destroyed toilet roll holders, toilet rolls stuffed down the toilets, then blocking drains; racist graffiti and excrement.
We know they are vital to our community and park users, but ask that you bear with us as we seek to clean and repair them.
